Overview

The Day Program Assistant Supervisor assists the Program Supervisor in the daily operations of the Day Program. Including the performance of any of the following responsibilities as assigned by the Program Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Provides oversight to Day Program Participants
  • Responsible for daily operations in lieu of the Program Supervisor
  • Maintain Daily attendance
  • Provide and Encourage community participation.
  • Provide training to encourage personal growth and independence for the program attendees
  • Assist in planning of monthly or weekly activity calendars
  • Supervisor all staff in lieu of the Program Supervisor
  • Assist in mentorship and training for program instructors
  • Monitor daily documentation needs
  • Participate in ISP, IDT or other team/agency meetings as assigned
  • Assure daily monitoring of MARs and appropriate medication administration
  • Complete all required paperwork/forms as assigned. This includes GER/UIR documentation when necessary
  • Monitor transportation logs and maintain agency vehicles in accordance with current policy and procedures
  • Act as a liaison with families, guardians, public and state entities, and other providers always representing the Center for Family Support in a professional manner
  • Must obtain 12 credit hours of continuing education annually
  • Must cooperate with all internal and external investigations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology or a related field preferred  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required  
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Human Services field
  • Organization Skills
  • Computer Skills to include use of Microsoft Office suite programs, email and internal applications.

Pay Range

USD $1,730.77 - USD $1,730.77 /Bi-Weekly
