Overview

The Behavior Technician is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Behavior Support plan developed for individuals with ID/DD across multiple locations.

 

The Center for Family Support (CFS) mission is to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental and related disabilities. Responsibilities

  • Participate in the assessments of individuals receiving support services at CFSNJ locations as assigned.
  • Monitoring the implementation of individual behavior support plans, behavior contracts, interaction guidelines and similar.
  • Maintain all records in an accurate, organized, and timely manner.
  • Act as a liaison to any family member, provider agency, medical or behavioral health practitioner or federal/state representative; always representing CFSNJ’s philosophy and standards for excellent service.
  • Ensure the timely collection of data and any associated paperwork necessary to document services rendered. This includes electronic data collection and attendance, Daily Logs/Training Records, Behavioral Charts, and/or any documents associated with Behavior Support Services as mandated by NJ DDD.
  • Responsible for essential duties as described across multiple sites.
  • Work closely and cooperatively with other members of the CFS clinical team, CFS Administrative team, and consultants to ensure proper coordination of services.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 1+ year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • 3+ years of experience working in the Human Service field

Pay Range

USD $23.00 - USD $23.00 /Hr.
