Overview

The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for the onboarding workflow for new-hires working for CFS Self Directed Supports.

 

The Center for Family Support (CFS) mission is to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental and related disabilities. Responsibilities

  • Welcoming newly hired employees and executing the onboarding plan throughout the onboarding journey
  • Managing the end-to-end onboarding process includes:
    • Receive and process employee clearance requests
    • Send to new hires application, background form and medical form 
    • Send phase emails and follow up for the various steps needed for candidate onboarding completion (conditional hire) 
  • Onboarding includes background checks, the scheduling of fingerprint appointments, Statewide Central Register checks, License Event Notifications, complete E-Verify for I9, update databases for clearances to be processed 
  • Follow up with staff and families on onboarding progress
  • Review and verify references 
  • Obtain and share vaccination information (where required)
  • Setup processes and linkages via UKG platform
  • Ensuring new hires have technical assistance to properly set up their hardware/software and distribute manuals, passwords, and guidelines, as needed. (i.e., set up with software systems (i.e. eVero software) username, password and link to individual supporting)
  • Sending final hire emails and protocols
  • Aligning new employees with managers and their team
  • Distribute and obtain verification of acknowledgement of the CFS SDS Employee Handbook 

Qualifications

  • College level experience
  • 3+ years of experience with OPWDD in-home and community-based services preferred
  • Preferred experience in Human Resources
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking across various software systems
  • Experience with OPWDD Self Direction program preferred

Pay Range

USD $2,230.77 - USD $2,307.70 /Bi-Weekly
